Romano- Celtic Bronze Horse Heads Brooch , Circa 2nd, 4th Century AD
A bronze brooch formed as four profile horse-heads radiating from a central ring-and-dot, each with ring-and-dot eye and notched mouth, pointed ears; hinged pin, and catch plate to the reverse. 14.94 grams, 40 mm. Fine condition.
Recently acquired from American collector, previously on the German Art market prior 2000s.
