Roman Enamelled Bronze Figural Brooch 1st-3rd Century AD
Roman bronze-enamelled zoomorphical brooch in the shape of running hound. Very fine, pin and catch plate on the reverse; Private merican collection. 41mm, 4.70 grams.Cf. It is a Roman provincial type used by military personnel and their families.
