A heavy Byzantine ring with solid O sectioned band , oval bezel with image of Christ or Saint engraved with niello technique; 8.18 grams, 25.70mm outer diameter, 21.04 mm max inner diameter. Fine condition. From the collection of EU gentleman, acquired on the German art market in the 2000s.
