A solid bronze Christian lamp with nozzle and cross shaped reflector, tripod base formed with lion-paw feet and rosette of interstitial panels, balustered stem and dished pan, central mounting spike (some restoration); vertical spike handle to base; tripod 330 grams, 19 cm (7 1/2 in.); lamp 14,5cm, 340 grams.Acquired from Notaras Coins & Antiquities, Suffolk, UK, before 2000. Property of a Bedfordshire, UK, private collector. Fine condition.
