An Ancient Roman bronze theatre mask appliqué with a hollow back- infilled with lead and iron (originally an attachment pin was attached). Dark brown-green, glossy patina intact; 40mm, 90 grams.
From the collection of EU gentlemen living in South Africa. Originally acquired on the German art market around 2000s.
